Upcoming Classes in 2024
I am excited to bring this workshop series to Nashville!
This workshop series is an introduction to individual research to experience more awareness of our organ system and skeletal system.
When we experience embodiment of our internal systems, we expand our capacity for knowing our self, and for self-regulation.
Our bones and joints structure and organize our bodies. When we embody our bones, we expand our capacity for support, mobility, and protection.
Our organs possess our history, memory, and life experience, they hold our passion and joy and bring us into relationship.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes that you can move in. Workout or yoga clothes are recommended but not required. Avoid tight fitting jeans or anything with snaps or zippers.
What to bring: All are optional: water bottle, yoga mat, blanket, notebook, writing/drawing utensils.
Embodiment of our Container, and Contents.

“Love having these sessions! Margret is wonderful with taking time to understand your goals and slowly helping you achieve them. Three years ago I had a very serious spinal injury and she has been wonderful helping me heal and return to movement. Both physically and mentally!! 100/10 recommend!”

“Super educational and relaxing! I feel grounded while lighter at the same time (probably only makes sense after experiencing it). It was so helpful for me to understand with how complicated my medical history is and how it affects my posture, energy, and daily life. Thank you. Will definitely be back!”

“My work is different from any psychologist or talk therapist in that it’s not about the story, or about talking, it’s about discovering what is left in the body that was not completed during a traumatic event.”
Margaret understands that when you move the body in distinct ways stuff comes up. People don’t always understand what is happening and what they are feeling and that’s where her role as a teacher, somatic educator and somatic experiencing practitioner comes in. In a typical one-on-one session, Margaret invites the sensations to arise, encourages people to be curious about them, and observes movements as well as subtle changes in the nervous system. Together, they explore all that is taking place. Sometimes people will identify a certain trauma, pain, or unresolved aggression.
